Our skill practice sessions are hands-on spaces for you to get on the bike and strengthen your organizing musclesーand this year, we’re expanding the lineup to include new sessions on leadership teams and strategy!

The sessions are exclusively for LCN members, and members can bring up to 3 guests to strengthen the collective learning in your teams, organizations, and communities.

Skill Practice Session on Campaign Metrics and Snowflake Structure

What we count—and how we count it—matters in organizing. Metrics enable us to evaluate success in how we’re developing leaders, functioning collectively, and achieving our goal. They also bridge the challenging process of developing a snowflake structure out of a campaign timeline, through a metrics journey that grounds us in who our people are, and helps us identify how many leaders we need, and where we need them, to reach our campaign goal. Join this 2-hour session for a hands-on practice in developing campaign metrics and structure in organizing. Read more about the session here.

Information:

  • Date: Wednesday, October 29th
  • Time: 10:00am-12:00pm US Eastern Time / 3:00-5:00pm Central European Time / 5:00-7:00pm Jordan Time

Mobilizing Resources into Action (4C’s)

How do I seek commitment from others to join me? And how do I ensure that the commitment is meaningful? Learn how we can move people to action with the “4C’s” —a way to mobilize commitment from your constituency in a way that is impactful and strategic. Read more about the sessions here.
